What is AEMES?
AEMES Smart, the Mobility Business Association, Sustainable and Smart Environment creates an ecosystem that drives innovation and investment through business cooperation, strategic alliances and the promotion of collaborative tractor projects, as well as public-private partnership in the area of mobility and sustainable and Smart environment.
AEMES Smart groups and gives visibility to companies in the new market in mobility and sustainable environment, working as a lobby for their defence and competitiveness, driving and accompanying the whole process of changing and transforming industries and traditional mechanization towards new mobility, and ensuring that companies can access qualified talent, and training to be competitive.
AEMES Smart works to supplement the value chains, to boost a sovereign industry and to access competitive supplies.
In 2015 promoted by AEBALL and UPMBALL, the SMART SPACE association was established.
In 2020 the result of the necessary transformation of the automotive sector, a grouping was created within the framework of UPMBALL to promote mobility projects and sustainable environment. Since then, many companies and organizations have joined the various collaborative projects the group designed.
In the fall of 20211 the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of SMART SPACE, agreed to the change of designation to AEMES Smart, to emphasise their projects and objectives in mobility and the sustainable environment and Smart and create synergy with the grouping of UPMBALL.
AEMES Smart accumulates experience in collaborative projects, and public-private SMART SPACE, and complements the network of companies from different value chains, tractors, SMEs, and entrepreneurs. It brings together the supply of mobility services and sustainable environment and Smart, and the demand for the polygons of economic activity, cities and territories.
AEMES Smart is a meeting point for companies that offer products and services related to Mobility, Sustainable Environment and Smart at the State level. It integrates more than 180 companies, 100,000 employees, and more than 10,000 million euros of turnover, with the representation of large companies, SMEs and start-ups, as well as technology centers. It also incorporates other agents such as logistics centers, ports and airports; and leading administrations such as municipalities and metropolitan areas, through collaboration agreements. The association promotes the development of an ecosystem that promotes innovation and investment, through business cooperation and strategic alliances, in addition to promoting public-private collaborative tractor projects.
